The Health Resource Center planned to take action in participating in the Monday Campaigns, according to a Daily 49er article in September.
The Monday Campaigns are a series of healthy goals people can make for themselves to do every Monday.
The different Mondays are:
- Meatless Monday,
- Quit & Stay Quit Monday (to quit smoking),
- The Kids Cook Monday (letting the kids participate on preparing meals),
- Move It Monday (exercise),
- Man Up Monday (men to observe any health issues they may have),
- Healthy Monday (uniting all of the above Mondays into one) and
- Caregivers Monday (give caregivers a chance to take care of themselves).
However, information about the Monday Campaigns isn't present on the front page of the Health Resource Center's website.

More students get HPV vaccine from Health Center
According to a recent article in the Daily 49er, more students are going to the Student Health Center for the HPV vaccine.
The Student Health Resource Center had conducted a survey. The results showed that 213 students received the vaccine in the last academic year.
That is an increase from the 2009-10 academic year, where 118 students received it.
The Gardasil HPV vaccine is a three-shot series. The cost is $145 per shot, but private insurers may cover it. An appointment is required.
